Surprise on the Beach

I wanted to share a little surprise I made for my partner on his birthday. I made him think I hadn't prepared anything and arranged to meet him at my house's door. Once there, I had him get into his car, although as a passenger. I blindfolded him and drove to his favorite beach. I told him not to remove the blindfold and, while he waited in the car, I went down to the beach, set up 2 towels, and surrounded them with many candles, as well as his favorite food and dessert. Of course, there were champagne glasses too.
When I returned to the car, I removed the blindfold and gave him his gift to carry to the spot. No matter how much he insisted, I didn't tell him anything until he started to see from afar what I had prepared... He couldn't believe it was all for him until he was there.
Regarding the gift, I used the idea of the endless boxes (which can be found in the ideas section of the website). He was certainly very surprised to see such a big box...
Lastly, a few little tips. If there is no beach in your city, look for a quiet countryside spot. If you encounter wind and fear the candles might blow out, make small holes in the sand and place them inside. A good alternative to this is to be prepared and bring transparent cups where the candles can shine without the risk of being blown out by the wind.
