Origami
Origami is known as the art of making figures from successive folds of a piece of paper. A classic example is the typical paper crane that we've all had the chance to see at some point.
Besides being an entertaining pastime that will allow you to impress anyone unfamiliar with it, and even yourself (it's amazing what can be achieved), origami will provide you with a valuable skill to have a little gesture with someone; a simple yet impressive gesture. On the Internet, you'll find plenty of pages with graphic tutorials to learn the basics (search for 'origami swan', 'origami crane', or simply 'origami' on Google and you're set ;))
