The Magic of Photoshop
Anyone reading these lines likely has a photo-editing program like Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc., installed on their computer. Don't worry, if you don't have any of these programs, you can still do what we suggest with the well-known Paint, although it might be a bit more challenging due to its limited options.
What can we gain from the ability to alter a photograph? Simply everything. Anything can happen in a photo on our computer. You can fly if you want, appear in cities you've never been to, with people you don't know, etc. A whole world of possibilities is at your fingertips with just a bit of skill in using the copy and paste options of the programs mentioned earlier. But it doesn't stop there; with a bit of drawing skill, your options will expand significantly. Your imagination will be the only limit.
Some interesting suggestions for the photo are as follows:
- Make the person you're surprising appear on the cover of their favorite movie.
- Create your own product by designing a label that you can stick on an empty pill bottle, a box, or a bottle. For example: a pill bottle filled with candies and labeled with your girlfriend's face and the caption "The Secret to Beauty."
- Draw little clouds above the heads of those in the photo to show what they're thinking.
Once you have the photo, you can present it in the format you like best: a surprising wallpaper, a beautiful postcard, or a framed photo are great options for this.
