Love Letter

Materials: 2 or 3 sheets of paper / coffee / a lighter / red ribbon / a rose (or another flower you like)
Take the paper and give it a bath in coffee (cola works too) and let it dry (either on its own or with a hairdryer). This way, the paper will have acquired a tone that makes it look uniformly aged. If the effect doesn't convince you enough, you can leave the paper in the sun for a couple of days, which will give it a more 'authentic' touch.
Once the paper is well aged, use a lighter carefully to burn the edges, making it look even older and giving it a parchment-like appearance. We must be cautious when burning the edge of the paper, as if we burn it too much on one side, it will tend to crumble, and we'll have to start over (tip: age more than one paper to have the possibility of compensating for errors in this process).
The worst part for some comes now: we have to fill in the parchment. Don't be afraid and let your poetic side run wild. The intention is what counts in these cases, and even if we're not going to win the Nobel Prize in Literature with what we write (maybe we will, love can do anything ;)), we're sure to reach our partner's heart.
If you don't find your handwriting presentable for the parchment, you can always carry out the entire aging process on a sheet that already has your message printed in a beautiful and old-fashioned font (e.g., Cataneo). Make sure the paper is good so the ink absorbs well and doesn't run when wet.
After all this is done, roll up our homemade parchment around the rose and, to prevent it from opening, tie it with the red ribbon in a simple bow.
