Letter to the Sea

On a trip, I asked my partner to take me to a place with the sea where we could be alone, so we went to a beautiful cliff. There, I covered his eyes for a while, during which I took the opportunity to place a series of candles around the spot where I wanted us to sit. I then took out a letter I had written and read it to him. The letter didn't have a specific recipient; it was addressed to anyone in the world who might find it. In it, I expressed that I felt there would be no one in the world who could make me feel such great love, and I begged the recipient to respond if the letter fell into their hands. We then placed the letter in a bottle and threw it into the sea, embraced. We rounded off the moment by toasting with cider and listening to a CD of romantic music we had put in the car. And there, under the moon and stars, by the light of our candles, we danced to a song that, with the magic of the moment, became part of our romantic story.
