Calendar
This week's idea can be applied at different times of the year, although it fits better with those short periods when there are several special days concentrated. For example, Christmas is a fantastic candidate to put the idea into practice. There are festive days for a multitude of celebrations: Christmas Eve (when Santa comes), the day of the Holy Innocents, New Year's Eve, the Three Wise Men... Certainly not lacking reasons to do something a little different.
In this idea, we propose making your own calendar, similar to those made in craft classes at some schools. Carrying out this idea will only require a couple of mural-sized cardboards, a pencil, a ruler, colored markers, and a bit of your imagination. The creation of the calendar is quite simple:
1) Draw 'windows' on one of the cardboards with the pencil, as many as the days you want the calendar to have (each 'window' will represent a day). 2) Cut out the silhouette of each 'window' enough so that it can be easily opened, revealing what's behind it, but not too much, as we don't want them to break when opened! 3) Place the cardboard without 'windows' behind the first one. This way, you can get an idea of what space each 'window' leaves visible once opened. In that space is where you should write the message corresponding to the 'window' in question. Be playful with the text and try to relate this idea to other romantic ideas. A nice message could be 'If I were you, I'd look under the pillow' (under the pillow, you would have left a little gift, a passion coupon booklet, etc.). 4) After writing the little message corresponding to each day, you can glue both cardboards together, and you'll have a more than original gift ready. Pay attention to the presentation with care and detail! 5) It shouldn't need saying, but keep a copy of the 'agenda' of surprises you've prepared, just in case you get distracted and forget one of the ideas you've written in the calendar :P
