Piggy Bank
A great way to encourage your partner to save for a trip or any special occasion is by gifting them a handmade piggy bank. It's very simple and fun.
You'll need a balloon, some newspaper sheets, white glue, water, and paints.
The process is as follows: dilute the white glue in water until you get a mixture with the consistency of porridge. Inflate the balloon to the size you want for the piggy's body. Once it's inflated and tied, start placing pieces of newspaper on it, and with a brush, apply the glue and water mixture as if you were painting it. Remember to leave a slot for the coin. You also need to make the ears, snout, legs, and tail; it's best to make a cardboard template and then cover it and attach it to the piggy's body. When everything is well dry (it will take at least 24 hours), you can pop the balloon and decorate the piggy with paints as you like.
