Of You and Me

One Now I can't listen to sad ballads, nor sit in a lonely corner to lament, I can't... maybe because I think of you and this thing we've built together, and I only have smiles. Now with you, I'm just someone who can't stop being grateful, and who doesn't live off dreams, but submerged in one big, very real one. Someone who feeds on sunrises and full moons while asking the air what it is that can't be touched, but is there, because they feel it when they're with you. I've become someone who can't stop asking destiny what they did to be so lucky.

I want to shout, tell the world that it can make the days fly by at great speed because I plan to live them intensely, knowing you'll be in them with me. Only someone in love with life can understand what I feel when I wake up and know I have a whole day ahead to be with you, hours to whisper all my dreams to you, and for you to tell me yours. Only someone immensely happy can understand what I feel when I look at you and realize that the only thing I want is to walk with you, and that I can do it.

LOVE WITHOUT FORM

Tuesday. It's very early. The routine carries me with closed eyes. Just an hour separates me from that dream that spoke to me of you last night. That dream... by the way, where could it have gone. The cold envelops the city and adorns it with scarves, gloves, and yawns. The week has practically just begun, I don't know if you know that I carry you with me, here right now under the rain, on the bus, in class, or in the coffee that will accompany me later. That coffee that reflects you in every drop and in which my desires dissolve. I have a few days left to have a good excuse to see you. I wonder what shape this glass has from which I look at everything lately... pure abstraction in which I immerse myself for days and from which I will surely recover when I see you again, in an eternity... What is this softness between my fingers, that has no form, nor reason because I see you without seeing you. What are you doing now, you, who are here with me, and don't know it...
